The Wellness Center
The Wellness Center, located on the first floor of Wagner Terrace, and staffed by our Wellness Coordinator, an experienced R.N., provides screenings and medical referrals, nutrition and medication counseling, incontinence management, and regular visits by an audiologist and a podiatrist.
Fitness Center
Across the hall from the Wellness Center is Noble's Fitness Center, recently outfitted with all brand new, equipment especially chosen for ease of use by older adults. The resistance on the new PACE machines is "accommodating resistance," which greatly reduces the chance of injury compared to moving weights or weight stack machines.
Cardio equipment includes treadmills with especially wide surface area for a great sense of comfort and safety. Recumbent bikes and upper body ergometers work the anterior and posterior muscles of the thigh, which is essential to free and easy movement. Staffed by a personal trainer, who is also an R.N., the Fitness Center is open at no charge to all Noble residents, former short-term or outpatient rehabilitation patients, and those who have completed an application and are on Noble's waiting list.
Recreation
Integral to Noble's goal of seeing that all Noble residents remain physically and mentally fit are the six full-time recreation directors who plan a variety of activities and events that take place seven days a week. Activities are geared to the interests and abilities of our residents and range from current events discussion groups, daily stretching exercises, crafts, games, music, movies, a range of cultural, educational and entertainment programs and purely social events such as hot chocolate parties in winter, cocktail parties, holiday celebrations, picnics and cookouts, and monthly birthday parties. The recreation staff also schedules regular "out trips" in Noble's 20-passenger or 12-passenger buses, which include shopping trips, lunch out at one of the area's many restaurants, visits to points of interest or scenic rides.

In-House Television
Noble's in-house television broadcast system helps all of our residents stay current on everything happening at Noble on their own TVs. They can tune in to channel 13 to check the daily roster of activities and daily menus or to watch movies and cultural, educational, and religious programs taking place at Noble. This is especially helpful to those residents unable to attend these events in maintaining a sense of connection to life at Noble.
