OPTIONS FOR LIVING
The Cottages
Independent Living
For new cottage residents, Moving Day is Independence Day. Here they begin a new way of life, filled with all the joys of having a private home without the burden of maintaining it. Pets, of course, are welcome. Forty-nine one and two-bedroom cottages are nestled along the village's winding roads in a setting that resembles any attractive residential neighborhood.
Regular shuttle service brings cottagers to and from Noble's hub, Wagner Terrace, to pick up mail, shop at the Country Store, attend Taconic Learning Center classes, frequent social events, daily exercise classes or to keep an appointment with Noble's personal trainer in the Fitness Center. Even cottagers who maintain their own cars find the cottager van a convenient alternative for shopping, trips to area points of interest or lunch out at one of the area's many restaurants.

The Cobble
Residential Living
Residents who can take care of their personal needs, but who prefer the ambiance of a fine residential hotel, choose the Cobble. Here, with day to day housekeeping seen to by the staff, residents join their friends three times daily in the beautiful Riga Dining Room overlooking Noble's pond, take part in regular activities designed to keep their minds and bodies fit and flexible, and join Cottage residents for social events and frequent off-campus trips.
The Cobble is currently undergoing a complete renovation to transform its single rooms into 11 two-room suites suitable for singles or couples. Each new suite will have a separate living room and bedroom, a walk-in closet, built-in bookcases, a large full bath, and a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and sink. First floor suites will have individual patios and second floor suites will have balconies, all with a pond view.

Wagner Terrace
Intermediate Care
Those residents who have mobility problems or who require nursing supervision and assistance with personal care find that the accommodations in Wagner Terrace meet their needs perfectly. Wagner residents join Cobble residents in the Riga Dining Room and enjoy a full schedule of activities and trips designed just for them. Each spacious room with private half bath is carpeted and accented with attractive custom draperies. All are fully furnished, but many residents choose to bring a few pieces of their own to make their new room feel like home.

Riga Residence and The Whitridge Wing
Skilled Nursing Care
Because our intermediate care level is designed for those residents who are able to live with some assistance, Riga Residence and the Whitridge Wing are reserved for those who truly require 24-hour nursing care. Riga Residence offers carpeted single rooms with private half bath and large windows looking over gardens and lawns. Many of its residents have meals and take part in group activities in the recently renovated Wickman Room.
The Whitridge Wing is a secure skilled nursing unit for residents with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. It offers large private and semi-private carpeted rooms, but Whitridge residents spend much of the day in one of two bright and airy activity rooms, helping them gain a sense of belonging and validation by being part of a group. Whitridge also is home to the Snoezelen Room, an innovative, multi-sensory environmental therapy, which has been observed to decrease pain, improve the overall sense of well being, reduce feelings of sadness and fear, and improve sleep habits.
